If you’re like ALKEME, giving is on your mind almost all the time these days. Not only do you want to give thoughtful gifts to family members, friends, and coworkers, but you also want to give back to your community and share your resources with those in need.

December is National Giving Month, and in that spirit, we thought we would share five questions that will help direct your efforts and give you confidence that your gifts will make a difference this year:

2. Are you a small business owner? Here is some helpful guidance on how to pick a charity for your business to support.
3. Do you want your donations to reflect current events and crises? Check out Charity Navigator’s Hot Topics or GoFundMe’s list of the 30 Best Charities to Donate to in the U.S. (2022).
4. Would you like the whole family to experience the joy of giving back this year? Scholastic has some creative and doable ideas for family members of all ages.
