Founded in 2020, ALKEME was created to redefine what an insurance platform could be. Built on the principles of connection and innovation, we bring together leading agencies, experts, and technology to transform the insurance experience. ALKEME delivers the scale, insight, and service that empower our clients and collective members to grow with confidence in an evolving world.
It All Started with Seven
In 2018, seven well established companies (six insurance and one wealth management) decided to leave a cluster arrangement they were members in to create a new affiliate group later to be named ALKEME. Backed by GCP Capital, a prominent player in insurance private equity, ALKEME had the resources to embark on its ambitious journey.

Early Growth, Processes and Identity
ALKEME accelerated growth by acquiring like-minded agencies and expanding into new markets, then reinforced that momentum with strong systems and processes to integrate acquisitions and scale. These efforts boosted revenue, increased visibility of the ALKEME brand and put us on the map in the highly-competitive insurance broker market.

The Great US Expansion
ALKEME closed 13 deals in 2023, almost doubling our headcount and adding offices Florida, Hawaii, Texas, Idaho, Utah, Ohio and New York. Not only did we have a great geographic expansion, but we added a lot of specialty business including a PEO, one of Hawaii’s largest agencies as well as NAPA Insurance Agency, specializing in serving the needs of the entire NAPA auto network.

Expanding Footprint and Diversifying Expertise
In 2024, ALKEME continued its aggressive acquisition strategy, adding five agencies early in the year and extending operations into Utah and Texas while strengthening its eastern presence in Virginia and New Jersey. Alongside geographic growth, we broadened our portfolio with specialties in finance, banking, and mortgage insurance consulting—solidifying our position as a national leader with a diverse range of capabilities.
