Chergey Insurance was founded in 1987 by Richard Chergey as a commercial insurance brokerage, built on a simple philosophy: the carrier doesn't pay us, the client does. That mindset shaped the agency from day one, starting with a focus on the automotive industry before expanding into broader commercial coverage. Today, based in Thousand Oaks, California, we've grown into a dedicated team of automotive insurance specialists serving franchise and used auto/truck dealerships, towing companies, repair shops, and body shops across the state and beyond.
