At Wharton/Lyon & Lyon, we’ve built an organization that is dedicated to helping clients manage the risks involved in running their operations and their homes. Founded in 1912, Wharton/Lyon & Lyon is a third-generation independent insurance agency with approximately 35 talented employees and two offices.
About Our Consulting Division: Lehman Consulting
Lehman Consulting, a division of The Wharton Group, is an insurance risk management and consulting firm. Our extensive experience provides lenders with the security of knowing that they are covered and in compliance with the regulatory insurance requirements of their loans. Our clients include investment banks, capital market lenders, and commercial lenders with regard to new loans and annual reviews. We work closely with our clients to review the coverage protection for their collateral and stand ready to respond to their insurance needs.
Our focus is to protect our lenders’ interests and advise them of the current state of the insurance market and lending industry. Since each loan is unique, we work with lenders to risk assess the subject property or project and confirm the lenders’ insurance requirements are met. Throughout the review process, we assist in drafting insurance provisions for loan agreements; negotiate coverage terms and limits while maintaining constant contact with our clients and their counsel.
